Now that summer really started here in The Netherlands, I like to make my smoothie bowls a little bit more tropical. When I visited a local farmer’s market I just had to get me some raspberries and blueberries, the looked and smelled wonderful! At home I couldn’t wait to make a smoothie bowl with them:
- 1 hand of raspberries
- 1 tbsp blueberries
- 1 banana
- 50 ml coconut milk
- 1 tbsp flaxseeds
- 1/2 tbsp chiaseeds
- 1/2 tbsp hempseeds
- 1/2 tbsp coconut grater
- Put the berries, half the banana, 40 ml coconut milk, flaxseeds and chiaseeds in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Add a little bit of water if you think it’s too thick. Remember, you’re gonna eat it with a spoon.
- Poor the smoothie into a bowl and drizzle the left over coconut milk over it, decorate it with banana slices, coconut grater, extra raspberries, chiaseeds and the hempseeds.
