Hotspot: SLA, Amsterdam

Last month I went on another food tour with a bunch of foodie friends. This time we were with a bigger group than last time and it was a lot of fun. Lisa from Lisa Goes Vegan organized the day, so we had a vegan food tour.
We started our tour at SLA, a lovely salad bar in Amsterdam. There was already a table set up for us, with lovely flowers and 3 flavors of fresh juices.

SLA is a salad bar, but we got plates full of vegan pastries. It was surprisingly good and I couldn’t get enough! I forgot to write down what was in it, but if I get to choose between a ‘normal’ pastry or a vegan one, why not go for vegan? It tastes just as good (maybe even better) and no animals were treated bad for it. See what I’m saying? Win, win.

Not just the food is good at SLA, the interior is lovely! I love the atmosphere and the people working there are really nice and helpful. I can’t wait to come back to try a salad and maybe even buy their book! It sure looks beautiful and will perfectly fit in our new kitchen when our house is done!
